Andy DeLay – Host Burning Rubber Radio
Andy DeLay has been with the Performance Motorsports Network for over 10 years. A native of the Tampa Bay Florida area, Andy spent four years in the United States Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge, he became a law enforcement officer at home where he has now been serving for 31 years.
Andy got his start in radio after his first retirement from law enforcement in 2008. Burning Rubber Radio came alive on WANV 96.7 in London Kentucky, and then WKFC in Corbin Kentucky. On a whim one day Andy decided “Let’s do a radio show”. With that Charles Robinson and Andy started off on the path to the radio. over a decade later Burning Rubber Radio still thrives.
Andy is also a member of the Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour Radio broadcast team with the Performance Motorsports Network. Andy has traveled with the team since 2017 and is a turn broadcaster at the national events. Andy also has the syndicated twice-daily two-minute news short the Burning Rubber Racing Report which airs on stations around the United States. Andy has also hosted the ARCA Championship Weekend radio events and reported from all venues of NASCAR, the IRL, Monster Trucks, the NHRA, IMSA, and the SCCA Majors.
Andy Lives in the Tampa Bay Florida area with his wife Sue, his two sons Buster and Steven, and his two daughters Nychola and Ganyne.
