Zachary Mertes is an avid race fan as well as a Legend Car driver in the INEX Legend Car Series.

Zachary has been racing since he was 9 starting in Soap Box Derby for 3 years and then stepping up into some karting leagues not too long after.

In 2020, Mertes would start driving Legend Cars with Stillwell Racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Summer Shootout scoring a Top 5 in his first race 2021 saw a big increase in on-track appearances as Zachary works his way up into NASCAR.

After meeting Andy DeLay, and appearing as a guest host, Zachary would soon find his place as a full-time host for Burning Rubber Radio.
