Qualifying is now open for the inaugural iRacing Off-Road Championship Series, an eight-event championship for the top Dirt Road iRacers in the world utilizing the Pro 4 Stadium Truck. The series, which will kick off on Wednesday, June 22 at 9PM ET/6PM PT, will see 24 drivers do battle across double feature events at Crandon International Raceway, Bark River International Raceway, Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, and Wild West Motorsports Park throughout the summer. The series will also offer a $25,000 purse to its competitors, with $10,000 reserved for the champion.

Short course off-road racing debuted on iRacing in the summer of 2019, and has continued to expand since then with additional vehicles and special events. All iRacing users receive the Pro 2 Lite truck free of charge to start their journey at the Rookie level, before progressing through the Pro 4 and Pro 2 ranks. Drivers can quickly earn promotions into harder series with clean driving, with some able to reach the highest license level in a matter of weeks or even days. The top Pro 4 and Pro 2 series feature custom setup tuning, as the fastest drivers in sim racing look to find extra tenths on the time chart.

To qualify for the iRacing Off-Road Championship Series, drivers must compete in the B class Pro 4 Off-Road Racing Series during 2022 Season 2, which runs for 12 weeks through June 6. Drivers may run as many races as they would like in each race week, with points awarded based on both race finish and strength of field. A driver’s best eight weekly scores count in the standings, and the 24 top-scoring eligible drivers who are in good standing with iRacing will be selected to run the Off-Road Championship Series.
