Noah Gragson is definitely the talk of the town in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season. Seven wins so far this year under his belt including getting the win this past Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway. Oh yeah, by the way, This Saturday’s win was his fourth in a row, and that hasn’t been done since Sam Ard pulled off the feat back in 1983. Noah celebrated the victory by burning the Goodyear Eagles off his Chevy Camaro then parking his car on the start/finish line and popping through the rooftop escape hatch. He exchanged high-fives with his team and then climbed through the hatch onto the roof of his car and pumped his fists to a cheering crowd. Then, to top it off, Noah and his team climbed the fence.
Gragson led 85 of the 200 lap race. He beat Austin Hill to the checkered flag by 1.2 seconds followed by Ty Gibbs, AJ Allmendinger and Riley Herbst rounding out the top five respectively. Two multi-car pile-ups at the midpoint of the race. Playoff driver John Hunter Nemechek wrecked hard into the outside retaining wall when he got loose up front during a restart. Allmendinger won stage two then was involved in one of the big wrecks. He was able to recover and finish fourth.
Next up for the Xfinity Series is the second race of the Round of 12. The series will visit the Talladega Superspeedway this coming Saturday for the Sparks 300. You can catch all the action at 2:00 PM ET on the USA Network.
