This September, the FIA SIMAGIC F4 eSports Global Championship Series arrives with 30 of the top-ranked regional competitors going against one another for a four-event, eight round season with a chance at winning a share of the $25,000 prize pool.
Last week, the Regional Tours all entered Week #5 of competition with racing at Long Beach in the Americas, Tsukuba Circuit for Asia-Pacific, and Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello for Europe.
AMERICAS REGION
More than half of the week wins belong to Michael Janney in the Americas Region after winning the Strength of Field (SoF) race once again, scoring 335 points this week at Long Beach. His ascent up the standings places him now in the top-five after five weeks of action, and Janney only having competed in four of them. Elvis Rankin is also on the come up, as he finished second on the week and moves up into 13th overall. Like Janney, Rankin’s rank doesn’t account for races in the first two weeks because he didn’t race them.
Nicolás Rubilar finished third overall on the week and now sits atop the overall standings, leapfrogging Victor Miranda, who’s led the way since Week 1. Miranda only scored the sixth-most points, behind Jackson Rezende and Felipe Cabrera Loyola, who rounded out the top-five for the week. Rezende moves back in, only spending one week outside the top-10. Also moving in are Paulo Draeta and Felipe Pujol Dantas as Jordan Johnson5, Andre Castro, and James R Burn fall outside. 1682 iRacers participated at Long Beach in Week 5.

ASIA-PACIFIC REGION
For the first time in five weeks, Alejandro Sendra was the top member in the Asia Pacific Region, scoring the SoF victory and claiming 273 points toward the overall standings. In this popular week at Tsukuba Circuit, the usual suspects of Damon Woods, Calieb Hydes, Jaidyn J Ladic, and Kazuki Fujita rounded out the top-five for the week.
Fujita maintains the points lead in the Region, but the gap has shrunk down to 47 points over Ladic. Sendra jumps to fourth overall, behind Hayata Asaga, who finished sixth in the week. Deklan Webb falls down to 14th in the overall standings as Shoma Shintani moves into the top-10, now in ninth. Kody Deith barely hangs on to the final spot inside the top-10. A whopping 3163 iRacers participated in the fifth week of action at Tsukuba.

EUROPE REGION
The fifth week in Europe belonged to Aaron Vazquezz, winner at Mugello in the top SoF race, earning 363 points. Once again, Europe provided the highest SoF of all three Regions, but also had the least participation, with only 1517 iRacers taking part in the action. Vazquezz dethroned Alejandro Sánchez, but Sánchez still managed to finish second overall, just ahead of the overall leader, Gordon “Gordie” Mutch. Alex Dunne and Hugh Barter rounded out the week’s top-five.
Barter loses just slightly on Mutch’s lead, now at 44 points entering the sixth week of racing. Barter does jump from fourth to second, however, around Elliott Vayron, now in third, and Moritz Löhner, who falls to 10th. Alex O’Grady and Oscar Py fall outside the top-10 while Vazquezz moves in, now in seventh, as well as Luke McKeown who follows up now in eighth.
