Corned Beef & Cabbage
Place corned beef in a large pot and cover with water.
Add the spice packet.
Cover the pot and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
Simmer for 1 hr per pound.
Then add vegetables and cook until tender.
Add cabbage and cook for only 15 minutes.
Remove the meat and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Be sure to cut meat across the grain.
